Enjoyed this very much. Followed everyone,s advice on the sugar and would definitely say that any more then the 2 tablespoons it would be too sweet! The kids were eating it so halved the chilli intake but could tell it would be even more fab with fresh chillis and loads of them!

Really delicious recipe and very easy to make. Made a chilli free version for the kids and then I added some red pepper and a lots of chilli flakes for the adults as I like my food with an extra kick and it was great. Served with fresh noodles. Definitely will be making it again soon

Eating as I type. OH MY! This tastes amazing, and to think I nearly phoned for a take away tonight. This is so much better! Added some fresh chilli too and served with egg fried rice. Will definitely be making this again and again and again.

If I had made it using light soy sauce it would have been very good, but it was just too salty with dark soy. I really liked the tangy lime taste. I don't think I'd make it again because I don't have a deep fat fryer and frying the beef was a bit fiddly. Tip - don't use Peal River dark soy sauce, it's so thick and dark, the end result will look like an oil slick with lumps of brococoli in it...

This was just delicious but it did not take 20 mins!! The chopping and the frying the beef first took time and the beef needs to be well done and crispy for the best result.

I followed some previous recommendations and halved the sugar. Be warned, if you do this you also need to at least halve the amount of lime juice. The way mine tured out was way too Limey but I will try i again, readjusting the lime and sugar content as the crispy beef was fab before I added the rest! Potential to be higher rated.

Mmm I'm veggie but got feedback that this was too salty... We don't add any salt to our food usually, also I used light soy so maybe should have used dark?

Yum!! I altered slightly by finely grating rather than chopping the ginger. I also reduced the sugar and added extra veg like peppers. Will make again :)
