Great dish though too sweet ... so yes reduce the sugar by 1tbsp and the addition of basil worked well! Also extra broccoli

Was a bit dubious about deep frying the beef and at first didn't have the oil quite hot enough. But really liked the sauce and veg mix. Served with rice. Will try a fresh chilli next time and maybe more veg but a very nice first attempt.

Delicious! Will use only one lime next time though as it was a bit strong. Used slightly less sugar than suggested and it didn't seem to make a difference.

AMAZING. Looked like the picture and tasted even better, I fried noodles with the left over juices and a little soy sauce and it tasted amazing, just as good as a take away.

This recipe is absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't believe how nice it was, and being so simple to make, makes it even better! I used sesame oil for frying, and it was lovely. I added noodles to the sauce, its surprising how much it coats the noodles with such a small amount. I added 2 tbsp soy suace to 4 tsp sugar, although id probebly use a bit less sugar next time - purely to make it healthier. Gorgeous!
