Nice dish, but the lime juice spoilt it. Will make again, but without the lime juice and will add more garlic.

Gorgeous, reduced sugar to 2 tablespoons and upped the chilli. A definite favourite in our house!

Tasted fab and really easy! Everything needs to be prepped before you start cooking though! Will definitely make again.

Tastes amazingly good for so few ingredients. Added a red pepper and used fresh chilli. Sugar could do with reducing possibly next time to 4 tbsps or even less. All the children loved it. Served with plain steamed rice.

Definitely a family favourite - made it twice so far - delicious and easy to make. Read the comments and reduced the sugar to 2 spoons - worked really well.

Excellent recipe - very easy to follow and tasty. I used sliced onions, a red pepper and a fresh chilli as well as the other ingredients and added some cashews at the end. Served with rice this is a new addition to the dinner rota

Yum!! I altered slightly by finely grating rather than chopping the ginger. I also reduced the sugar and added extra veg like peppers. Will make again :)

Mmm I'm veggie but got feedback that this was too salty... We don't add any salt to our food usually, also I used light soy so maybe should have used dark?

I followed some previous recommendations and halved the sugar. Be warned, if you do this you also need to at least halve the amount of lime juice. The way mine tured out was way too Limey but I will try i again, readjusting the lime and sugar content as the crispy beef was fab before I added the rest! Potential to be higher rated.

I added 1 tsp of five spice to the cornflour.
1/2 tsp of chilli powder intead of dried chilli or flakes.
Only 2 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 of lime juice.

This was just delicious but it did not take 20 mins!! The chopping and the frying the beef first took time and the beef needs to be well done and crispy for the best result.
