Method

  1. Put the peanut butter in a bowl and slowly mix in the soy sauce until smooth. Cut each chicken fillet into thin strips lengthways, add them to the peanut mixture and coat well all over. Cover and marinate in the fridge overnight.
  2. When ready to use, thread each chicken strip onto a soaked skewer and barbecue or grill for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Know-how

You'll need wooden skewers for this, soak them for a good 30 minutes before using them or they'll burn.

    I have tried this recipe but i have also added some thai dipping sauce to the peanut butter to give it a bit of a tangy kick, i have also chopped up the chicken more finely and stri fried as well as used on skewers for BBQs both work just as well. Quick & easy.

    I marinate the chicken in soya sauce ginger garlic coconut cream and red curry paste. When I cook them I serve with satay as a dipping sauce... excellent everytime!!!

    Easy peasy and delicious, I used whole nut peanut butter and sieved the big bits out. It was really peanutty and not at all salty.
