  Absolutely fantastic, extremely quick preparation and cooking time. The lemon curd gives it a really zesty flavour, very tasty. I've made this many times over for friends and family - no-one yet has been able to believe it's made in the microwave. The taste and texture are as good as any steamed/baked sponge pudding.

  this is so refreshing and its being able to make in mircowave is a bonus have tried this with oranges and is just as zippy

  Absoultely AMAZING! could not believe how perfect this pudding came out of the microwave, went out and bought some plastic trays and ended up going to get more as they are so easy to use and clean! Very very tasty pudding, surprised myself!

  this recipe really surprised me. I prepared the batter before hand and cooked it in the microwave just in time for dessert. Just a hint if you cook one in the microwave reduce cooking time!

  Trying to plan ahead for a dinner party and was wondering how far in advance it is possible to make the batter or whether the sponge can be frozen after cooking?

  Lovely! Halved the recipe and made it in a small glass bowl (v.large ramekin!) for me and my boyfriend. Didn't use any lemon juice, zest or curd but instead used 2 tbsp jam! Cooked it for 3 and a half minutes, tipped it into a bowl with jam on the top and heated it again for ten seconds. Really nice consistancy considering it was made in the microwave! Also great for sharing!

  Really easy and delicious, my guests loved them with poached raspberries and ice cream. I made and cooked them at least 2 hours ahead then gave them another 20 seconds to reheat before serving and this worked really well.

  Made this in the oven in a 12 cake tin as didn't have individual pudding bowls. It was so good I didn't want to stop eating.

  I made this for a quick pudding at a dinner party, was unsure about the microwave as only used to the more traditional oven method. Took longer than 4 minutes and was still unsure if it was cooked through. Sponge tasted bland Topping was excellent. Could only taste sauce and custard. I think I will go back to oven baked puddings.

  Delicious. Really easy. Couldn't believe how quick it was to make. Shall certainly be repeating this again. Lemon curd is always a firm favourite in our house. Perhaps I might try omitting lemon next time though in the sponge and top with blackcurrant jam or even syrup.
