  This went down a storm with two very faddy eaters. Omitted the sage (anticipated the 'I hate the green bits'!) but slightly increased seasoning to compensate.

  Really loved the bugers, left out the sage & they were still magic! Onions were a bit too sweet for me though! Will defo make again!!

  Absolutey delicioius. I am a bit confused about the quantities though...900g pork is masses and by the time it was all mixed together I made 12 burgers altogether. Delighted to have lots in the freezer for another day but there is no way this is a 'makes 4' recipe, not unless we are talking seriously massive burgers!

  I made these according to the recipe but I used one average pack of pork mince (so about 450g or 500g) instead of 900g. I didn't have time to make the caramelised onions but will definitely try those next time I make these burgers. I thought that that sage gave them a delicious flavour and they were very easy to make. Served mine on ciabatta buns fresh from the oven.

  I adapted the recipe slightly. There are only two of us so i used half a standard packet of mince (250g), i didn't bother with an egg and i used dried sage. But they worked a treat! They tasted amazing and my boyfriend loved them too. I can't wait for the summer as i plan on making a large batch for BBQing.

  I used dried sage instead of fresh and it was just as nice. Surprisingly, my children enjoyed it too, but without the onions. I also added garlic. I love garlic!!!

  Had these last night, made a really pleasant change from beef burgers, however i do think the ingredients may be wrong, i used 500g of pork mince, not 900g like the receipe states, using 500g still made 6 burgers, so i cook 4 and froze 2. The apple and sage really tasted yummy, i didn't make the onions as i didn't have time but will do next time i make them. My 3 year old daughter even enjoyed them.
