  This sounds really tasty, a different take on the usual Lasagne i make. My fella adores olives, what ever colour. The trouble is i dont have an oven proof frying pan, so would making this in an ordinary baking dish be OK?

  Simple and delicious! If you also think that ordinary lasagne is a tad too harsh on your stomach then try this. Surprising how substituting ham for beef lifts the family classic. Topping also very yummy. We only topped with black olives not to make their taste too overpowering - turned out great.

  Simple and easy. Very popular with all the family.The second time I made it I had run out of tinned tomatoes and so used tomato pasta sauce which made it less runny.

  Very tasty - definitely one to add to my favourites. I'm not keen on hot olives so replaced them with pre-cooked sliced mushrooms, which worked rather nicely.

  This is a real family favourite - I've made it several times and it's always a hit. Nice version of lasagne with a fraction of the calories of the "real" one!

  I don't know if my frying pan is oven proof, can I use a normal oven proof dish instead?

  This dish is a good one. I used an oven dish as opposed to a pan. Both myself and partner really enjoyed this - fun to make also!

  Easy to make indeed. Could use parmezan instead of cheddar. I used an oven dish as well and it turned out just fine. There's something missing though and I can't tell what it is... Maybe I prefer richer tastes.

  I didn't really enjoy this recipe. I didn't think the ham was a strong enough ingredient to give this dish the flavour it required. The olive taste appeared overbearing and didn't seem to suit. Unfortunately I scrapped the main ingredients out as I was finding it hard to eat. I did like the the topping though.

  I have made this a few times now, I add chilli flakes and Italian seasoning to the chopped tomatoes to give it a kick. I also pad the lasagne out with layers of mushrooms, very nice.
