Fantastic easy recipe - use the darkest and best plain chocolate possible and you will not be disapointed! Be careful not to cook over 25 mins as outside becomes a little hard. Delicious, easy, fast and my 3yr old was in heaven licking the spoon!

Does anyone know if I can substitue the golden syrup with a tablespoon of greek honey? I live in Athens and I can only get golden syrup from certain shops so its not always something I have at hand.

Absolutely amazing. I have now made this three times. I have found that using bourneville is the best. I preferred it to the really high % cocoa and to the milk chocolate. To TONIA - I doubt it would make a huge amount of difference if you used honey - I would give it a go!

I loved making this cake! Me and my mum made it for my sister with raspberries and icing sugar which was really good, and then I made it again today for my friends birthday and put strawberries and white chocolate on top, it looks sooo nice, and tastes it too! Also very easy to make and addictive!

Yummy, yummy yummy!! I haven't made this in a while and had forgotten how good it tastes. I think this is one of those recipes that you can always rely on to come up trumps. It's perfect for when my kids have their friends round for tea but is also ideal for dinner parties. A winner every time!!

I love this recipe. I think I have a dodgy oven, but even so, I only put mine in for about 10-15 minutes and they come out perfect - really gooey and squidgy.

I have an electrical oven, and I'm confused as to which temperature to use. 180 or 160?
