Strange and very fragrant - pears AND rosemary AND blue cheese. Will not be making again.

Left out the cheese and used white onions chopped up, also added courgettes to tin to cook along side in oven not grill. nearish the end added a glass of white wine, so, even after thoroughly messing around with the recipe it was good and enjoyed by even my picky housemates!

I cooked this for my girlfriend and me and we couldn't believe how good it tasted! Was unsure about the use of pears and what type to use but used Comice and they came out well - make sure you cook them until they are soft - they felt like the potato substitute. The caramelising red onion was served on the side. The pork fried with salt, pepper and rosemary, and then with the oven blasted melted stilton on top was mouthwatering! Considering the short amount of preparation and cooking time involved, this meal is amazing!

Very, very good! Next time I'll quarter the onions rather than cut them in to eight and I'll use a bit more cheese. Well worth the little effort it takes to make.

I love this recipe! Very tasty, quick and easy. First time I followed method above exactly, second time I cooked it all in the oven together at the same time rather than the hob-grill method - seemed to work out better in the oven I love it!

Very tasty, easy recipe. Will make again. Wasn't sure what pears to use but my mind was made up for me as the only ripe pears at my supermarket were Conference. These worked well. Lightly fried the ingredients in a frying pan and then added to a tray of partly roasted new potatoes to finish off. Served on a bed of rocket, watercress and spinach leaves drizzled with honey and mustard dressing. Recipe for dressing was taken from BBC Good Food Warm Stilton Salad. All worked well together.

Really delicious - didn't have enough pears though, so taste didn't completely come through, but still a gorgeous meal that I'll make again! Served with loads of runnerbeans and sweetcorn from my mum's garden!

So easy to make that my boyfriend made this unsupervised and it turned out perfectly. We have made it twice now and the second time we added some courgettes and pine nuts. It is DELICIOUS!
