I didn't manage to get the swirl affect either, but it tasted lovely! Defintiely need more biscuits and more butter for the base - mine didn't hold together very well at all.

I've tried this a few times now and its absolutely delicious! Almost entered folklore in our house its so good. I leave base in fridge for a hour as mentioned above and add 100g white chocolate as well just to be extra greedy.

This was fantastic, very rich, one thing i would say is that it needs to be taken out of the fridge half an hour before serving as it tastes better than straight from the fridge.

Ela1985 - the recipe says serves 8, but as it is really rich it would actually serve at least 12, as the portions need to be quite small...

I substituted the dark chocolate with white belgian cooking chocolate and combined it with half of the cream cheese mixture. I made the first layer with this mixture, allowed it to cool and then added the second, milk chocolate layer - delicious!

I jus made this i would recommend using 250g biscuits with 100g butter to make a decent base that doesnt crumble. Be sure to press it down with a spoon. Havent tasted it yet apart from from the bowl. It is v.rich!

Absolutely delicious cheesecake! I made this with my son as it was nice and simple for him to get involved. The only problem being, 50g of butter was definitely not enough to bind the biscuit base!

Very rich but absolutely fantastic! I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I thought this was fabulous. I also used some lindt dark chocolate with intense orange which gave it a lovely orange flavour too with a little bit of texture from the orange bits.

Easy to follow recipe. My first attempt at a cheesecake and I was surprised how easy it was. Unfortunately I didn't achieve the marbling effect and the base fell a part, so will add more butter than stated next time, but it was delicious - for a chocoholic :)

This was a fantastic cheesecake to make but I did add extra biscuits and extra butter. After making the base I put it in the fridge for a couple of hours which ensured no crumbling when cutting. I guess if you wanted it less sweet you could change the ratio of dark to milk chocolate, to be fair though, I loved it just the way it was.:)

made yesterday WOW it's delicious & oh so simple to make. I over-stirred the dark choc so didn't achieve the marble effect either but that was no problem, instead I decorated the top by dripping some dark choc across the top which made it look even nicer. we had friends over & we were all chatting away but when the heavenly cheesecake arrived it went really quiet apart from regular "mmmmmmms". I used galaxy milk choc & divine dark. will defo make this again oh yesssss!

This was so easy to make. It's very rich though. If in a hurry leave to set in the freezer for 20-30 mins & then remove back to the fridge. That's what I did. I also used golden syrup for the base mixed in with the digestive & had no problem with it crumbling & I used slightly less digestives. Didn't realise the packet was slightly under the required amount.

Very effective, & simple, dont be afraid that it's not all combined, that way it becomes easier to leave it looking streaky, I've made individual ones and will serve on Sunday.
