1. Preheat the oven to 200C/Gas 6/fan180C. Squeeze the juice from 2 lemons into a small pan and heat with the butter, honey, rosemary, garlic and salt and pepper, until the butter melts and it smells fragrant.
2. Lay the chicken in a roasting tin - don't pile it up or it won't cook so well. Add the potatoes and drizzle with lemon butter to coat evenly. Cut the third lemon into 8 wedges and tuck them in. (Can be made up to 2 hours ahead up to this point.)
3. Roast for 50 minutes - 1 hour until the chicken is cooked and the potatoes are crisp and golden. Serve with a green salad.

  At first I found this a bit sweet, but after a few mouthfuls I was hooked! It was really quick and easy to do, so I will definitely make this one again.

  This was quick and easy to make. But my family found the potatoes a bit too lemony. But the chicken was beautiful. Will be cooking this again, but will cook pototoes in a different dish.

  Lovely recipe - everything in one pot so quick and easy to make. Uses simple store cupboard ingredients. Very tasty - the lemon and honey go brilliantly together. I've made this a few times now and it always goes down well. Great for a small dinner party because it is minimum fuss but excellent results. Love it.

  Great chicken, also found pots a bit too lemony so cook them in a different dish, my step kids think we have posh food at our house when i make this!! if only they knew how easy it is!

  Really enjoyed this, easy to make and can leave to cook while doing other things around the house. I agree that the potatoes were to lemony and would cook them seperatly next time with some herbs. but will defiantly make this again

  I made this dish last night. I have a bad cold so I'm very disappointed to say that I couldn't taste the flavours. The meat was very tender though. I will probably par-boil the potatoes next time for a couple of minutes as mine were a little hard and I would also add more honey as the chicken wasn't sticky as in the photo.
