  Very quick simple way to use up berries just passing their prime for eating plain - this tastes fabulous on vanilla ice cream.

  Works great! I made two batches, using raspberry for on some pancakes and blueberries for on some ice cream later in the day, both tasted lovely. Will definitely make again.

  I have been given 2lb of fresh blackberries.So I put them with a little watter ,a dash of red wine ,golden caster suger and a large dollop of honey and lastly a good splattering of honey liqueur, left from last xmas. Brought to the boil and simmered until the fruit was tender. stored in the freezer for a refreshing topping on ice-cream for this x-mas.Yummy.

  This is fabulous! I've made it a fair few times now, but I don't always like to strain it after whizzing it up as I quite like the bits. It tastes yummy with melon, cooked apple and as a topping to a plain cheesecake. Delicious!

  I used less sugar and added some honey instead. Had it with pancakes with pieces of banana and apples - lovely Sunday breakfast! Our faces are still covered in blackberry coulis!!

  Made this exactly as it told me too and was so yummy. I will definatley be making this one again, so easy to make and great on top of pancakes warm or on ice cream cold. Also nice in some yoghurt. Picked the blackberries and made it all within one hour.

  Delicious and simple! I used blueberries, since that was what I had. Nobody really fancied dessert until I plonked the sauce on the table and then everyone was clambering for a bit of cake! I will definitely be making this again, with a variety of berries I'm sure!

  delicious and easy to make, makes ice cream something really special. I also added a desert spoon full of sloe gin (berries and sloes picked by me and my husband, love to do a bit of foraging) and this made it very tasty. will definately try with other fruits too. :-)

  A very delicious and easy recipe! I had some blackberries in my fridge that had seen better days and instead of throwing them out thought I'd see if they were still good for a coulis and they were! Turned out great and had the coulis over homemade waffles with cream!

  Great recipe! I've used both blackberries and raspberries and did not sieve it at the end, as the fruit pulp/bits makes a good addition. The sauce tastes just like a blackberry/raspberry jam.
