I make these every time I do a buffet or nibbles, and they always disappear so quickly. I find that they take longer in the oven than stated, as I like the bacon to be nice & crispy.

I tried these a couple of months ago and have not looked back!!! Absolutely amazing and so damn easy! Fabulous for dinner parties served on a platter with some stuffed baby mushrooms and the platter was quickly empty! Be warned...very addictive!!!

Have made these so many times and and each time I under estimate just how popular they are. Unlike JaneR I find that you need to take care not to over cook them as the filling can breakdown.I will be making them again for Christmas buffets this year.

I have preparred these with other canapes for our housewarming party and everyone loved them! Really tasty and so easy to make... they go really well with some undressed salad leaves like lettuce as they are full of flavour and quite salty.

I've made these a couple of times over the Christmas period. The second time I placed the sliced Halloumi inside an open cup mushroom and wrapped the whole thing in a bacon parcel. A Hit !

I attempted these for a family gathering at the weekend, and it wasn't nearly as easy as it sounds. When I tried to cut the hallloumi into sticks, it crumbled to pieces, and so did the bacon when I tried to stretch it. I ended up with some very tiny ones, and lost patience before I had used all the ingredients. They did taste good though, and all got eaten - if I'd perserved with the rest of it, I think they'd have all gone. I doubt if I'll attempt these again though, unless my gluten free sister is visiting.
