Ingredients

  • 4 Carrots Diced
  • 2 Leeks finely sliced
  • 2 sticks of finely Sliced
  • 1 1/2 liters Water
  • 2 Veg or Chicken stock cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 twist of the pepper mill
  • 1 tsp dried chilly flakes
  • 100 g micro macaroni or broken up spaghetti

Method

  • STEP 1
    Fill saucepan with the water then add the salt to boil ,whilst waiting chop your carrots and add to the pan ,chop the leek and add to the pan then add the celery . in this order as carrots take longer to cook than leeks etc.
  • STEP 2
    as soon as the pan of water is boiling add the mini pasta and stock cubes, pepper ,and chilly.
  • STEP 3
    wait for the pasta to become big or Al dente.
  • STEP 4
    stirring every now and then to keep the pasta off the bottom of the pan .
  • STEP 5
    serve into bowls and goes nice with fresh ciabatta
