These turned out FANTASTIC. I made them for the first time as a test run for the Christmas buffet at work, hopefully they'll go down as well as they have in our house :-)

Mmmm these little mince pie cakes where really yummy. Didn`t last very long !!

I made these buns two days ago. I got my shopping list a bit wrong, so used dark muscavado sugar, margarine and nutmeg! Despite these chages they still turned out lovely and delicious. The mince meat in the middle makes them lovely and moist. I've only got two of the 12 i made left, so i am going to have to make a second batch soon. These are great for guests visiting over christmas.

Excellent recipe, just made my first couple of dozen for the kids to have for christmas tuck treats, cant see them lasting very long...they are yummy, especially as they sit there on the cooling rack!

Yummy but if you try to get all the mix in 12 bun tins you end up over filling them! Will use muffin tins or just make more next time :D

I made these cakes as the recipe suggested this morning and they are delicious. As it was my first time, perhaps I will try my own variations next.

I made these for the school christmas fayre and they went down a storm. I used the 'Sandham Family Mincemeat' with them which is a firm family favourite. I will be using the recipe as part of my mincemeat christmas pressies instead of just putting a normal mince pie recipe.
