Vegetable Stew

Ingredients

  • 1LB STEWING STEAK CUT UP SMALL.
  • 4 MEDIUM CARROTS CUT THIN
  • 4 MEDIUM PARSNIPS CUT THIN
  • 1 LARGE ONION
  • 1KG POTATOES CUT SMALL
  • 4 BEEF STOCK CUBES

Method

    1. STEW THE MEAT & ONION IN STOCK FOR 40 MINUTES.
    2. ADD CARROT, PARSNIP AND POTATOES.
    3. ADD WATER TO JUST ABOVE LEVEL OF STEW.
    4. COOK LOW AND SLOW FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS.
    5. TASTE AND SEASON
