  We like the potatoes well cooked. 15 minutes are not enough to cook the potatoes. I use salt, freshley ground pepper, olive oil, plenty of lemon juice and chopped fresh parsley or fresh coriander. Most of the times though i peel the potatoes and cut them roughtly. I serve them as a salad with meatballs or vine leaves or just as one of the salads.

  Having tried them as the recipe, now going to oven roast for approx 15 mins to make them slightly crispy then add some pan fried bacon, mushrooms and red onion(chopped small) to the potatoes.

  Tried these and took the advice of popping in the oven for 15 mins. Really made a difference, really nice and easy way to cook new potatoes, but with a different taste. Even the kids liked them, littlest one took some of the pepper off, so maybe leave a few without next time.

  Excellent way to cook the spuds. Really enjoyed them with the bacon etc. My kids have asked for them over and over again.

  This recipie is great as is. Other than maybe roasting for crispness it doesn't need anything else. Extra additions make it a different recipie.

  I'm never going to cook my potatoes any other way! Loved Shelley and Brian's suggestion of putting them in the oven, and I added a sprinkling of finely chopped red onion too.

  I have often roasted whole baby new potatoes in a little good olive oil with Maldon sea salt flakes and we love them, much less fatty than roasties and more fibre, can,t wait to try the idea of crushed potatoe though, Thankyou for sharing.

  I love crushed potatoes as an alternative to mashed or whole potatoes. I use both butter and olive oil, and plenty of sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Sometimes I add parsley, thyme, mint or chives, depending on the dish. I agree it's especially yummy with the Chicken Cacciatore recipe on this site.

  Beutiful crunchy potatoes! I added some Rosemary to this recipe to add another dimension and it was fantabulous my husband enjoyed it immensley. Will definately be a regular on my menu!

  The recipe didn't work so great for me - I tried finishing them off in the oven but instead of going crispy the potatoes went dry! Not sure what went wrong - perhaps the oven wasn't hot enough?

  Following the recommendations above. Fried up some red onion and bacon. Stuck potatoes, onion and bacon in the oven for 15/20 mins. Bish, bash, bosh - Dlish.
