Method

  1. Mix the low-fat cream cheese with the creamed horseradish and season. Spread 2 slices rye bread with the cheese then add slices of avocado and some smoked salmon or gravadlax.
  2. Sprinkle over snipped chives and pack a lemon wedge to squeeze over.
Try

Japanese rice and tuna

Toss 150g of cooked brown rice with 1 tsp each of mirin, soy and sesame oil. Add sliced cooked tuna, a handful of chopped spinach leaves and toss again. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
