  Very quick and easy to make but lacking something in flavour. I make the fruity christmas biscotti all year round, its juicy and full of flavour, but this recipe is very disappointing

  I would put much more chocolate and hazelnut next time, and maybe cinnamon. The flavor was very weak.

  Loved this, the only problem I would say the dough more difficult to role into a sausage shape than the recipe suggested. found it tasted nutty & orangey.

  I didn't find these to lack flavour at all! The orange zest really comes through, and they were a hit among friends.

  I made this at the weekend - fab! We all thought it was better than the fruity biscotti. Will definately make again. Has anyone tried freezing it like the fruity christmas biscotti?

  Easy to make, tasted delicious, had to supplement hazelnuts with almonds (due to baking cupboard being raided!) will definitely be making them again.

  Made these yesterday and they were delicious, they disappeared in no time! Next time I will add a little vanilla extract though, and possibly some more chocolate.

  Just made a variation of these, I used glace cherries and walnuts, delicious, oh and I added a few good drops of vanilla extract, yummy! Really easy to make too.

  I'm thinking of using roast chestnuts instead of hazlenuts - does anybody have an opinion on whether this may work??

  Absolutely delish! Just made them for my ever-hungry male housemates and we all loved them. Made a few little variations - added a pinch of salt and a few drops of vanilla extract, plus a bit more chocolate and nuts (used almonds instead of hazelnuts). I reckon the beauty of the recipe is that you can make any additions that you want; might try it again with some dried fruit. Easy to make, delicious and they look very professional.

  I made this for my colleagues at work and it went down well. I doubled the amount of chocolate and nuts. It was easy to make and I will definitely make it again.

  Very quick and easy to make. I thought these oil be rally tricky and complicated but they rent. As others said, it lacks a bit in flavour but seeing as you can add whatever you want to these I don't really see it as a major flaw! Gorgeous with tea or coffee.
