I find it easier to put the oil (and any extra flavourings) into a saucepan, add the chips and shake them around a bit, then put onto the baking tray.

My husband and I loved these 20 minutes was enough time for them to be perfectly cooked on gas mark 9. Think I did put a bit to much oil on though so will use less next time.

Too complicated .... I cut up as described and then just dumped them into a pan of boiling oil!! Much easier and delicious! :-/

Cooked in 20 minutes at our electric fan oven's highest temp which is around 220-240. I drizzled the oil on the potatoes when they were in the saucepan (after draining obviously) as was easier to coat the chips that way. Healthy and simple method to cook chips. Not as good as takeaway ones, but certainly better than shop bought oven chips.

Super easy and super tasty, for total cooking novices such as myself one large potato is enough for one person... discovered this after chopping up two and realised I had enough food for a week!

Very easy to do. Cooking time seems twice as long! I also added garlic pressed over chips for a hint of something different!

I made these today for the first time. They turned out better than fried chips, so yummy. The recipe and the timing are exact, the family loved them too. Thanks :) !!!
