Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C/fan 150C/gas 5.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl using your hands until a dough is formed.
  3. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5mm. Then use a cutter to cut out the biscuits.
  4. Place the biscuits onto a floured baking tray and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.

    Do you not need either milk or an egg to bind all ingrediants to form into dough?

    No, we have just made them and there's enough moisture from the butter and cheese to bind it all together. Great recipe for my preschool age kids to make, very simple. Haven't tasted them yet though, still in the oven!

    Verdict = Very tasty. I didn't have enough mature cheddar so used 50% grana padano.
