Stacked double cheeseburger
A piquant sauce gives this layered hamburger with tasty steak mince and oozing emmental the extra dimension

- Mix the burger sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Combine the meat, Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, mustard and lots of seasoning. Form 8 thin patties, season. Heat an outdoor grill or use a grill pan. Drizzle oil on both sides if using the later. Grill for 3-4 minutes each side for medium. For the last minute add cheese. Stack 2 burgers in each bun with tomato, lettuce, onion slices and burger sauce.

- 8 slices emmental
- 1 beef tomato , sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 crusty buns
BURGER SAUCE
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- gherkins , finely diced to make 1 tbsp
- onion , finely diced to make 1 tbsp
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
