1. Heat oven to 220c/fan 200c/gas 6. Tip the potato wedges onto a large baking sheet, ensuring they sit in a single layer. Bake for 10 mins. Meanwhile, mix together the mayonnaise, shallot or onion, cheese, tuna and parsley.
2. Tip the potato wedges into four individual or one large heatproof serving dish and spoon over the tuna mixture. Pop back in the oven for a further 12 mins, until bubbling.

MAKE IT DIFFERENT

Instead of using tuna, try topping potato wedges with sliced ham, torn roughly and mixed into the cheese and mayo mix. Cooked, shredded chicken works well, too.

  Very easy mid-week supper - tasty, filling, and you can add ingredients for a change - e.g throw in some cherry tomatoes before baking.

  Tried with Bacon and 3 cheeses (cheddar, Gloucester and red leicester) - Bacon made it a bit too salty. I also made my own potato wedges, which made this simple dish a bit of an effort. Will probably try again, but next time with Tuna as suggested (although i dont really like fish my boyfriend said it would be 5* with tuna), and maybe with Ham to get rid of the saltyness. Worth a try. Served with Broccili.

  i have made this time over time its a winner..i always add the tuna last minute(just let it warm in the sauce) and hardly move it around in the pan as when the tuna stays in chunks its like having a meaty dish.. my daughter hates tomatoes but eats this served with garlic or crusty bread . truly yum!

  oh by the way i use tin tomatoes and do a sauce then poor over the wedges slam some cheese on in the oven to brown slighlty then yum!

  Nice, quick meal, easy to make. Definitely needs something "fruity" to balance the taste, though - a handful of cherry tomatoes (halved) added to the tuna-cheese mixture make it perfect!

  Lovely combination. Didn't have any wedges so made my own. Changed the mayo for creme fraiche and added wholegrain mustard to the mix. Added cherry toms as suggested. Making it again next week, it's that good.

  Good midweek meal but definitely needs something crunchy with it. I added tinned sweetcorn to the mixture and served with lettuce and tomato salad.

  Great dish! Made my own oven chips (potatoes mixed with egg white and chilli powder instead of oil) which worked really well and saved on calories. Made the tuna version for myself which was lovely, and the ham for my daughter which was even better! Will definitely become a regular for comfort food.
