Made these brussels sprouts yesterday and they were really delicious. I added some chopped chestnuts too when I was frying the pancetta and I thought it was lovely, wasn't sure how the goosefat would taste with them but it added a nice flavour. Even my husband loved the sprouts this year and he is not normally a fan!

I would love to try this recipe, but don't want to use pancetta or any pork based products. What can I use as a substitute?

Disappointing. Not nearly as flavoursome as I would've expected. Won't bother with this recipe again.
