  Lovely! Feel-good factor when marinading chicken the day before, and from there SO simple and effective. Potatoes sticky and tasty for the first serve and more 'roasted' for husbands re-heat.

  Really tasty and very simple to make. Didn't have any tarragon so used rosemary from the garden, still good!

  My husband thought this was very tasty but the potatoes were a bit oily from the chicken fat dripping onto them. Maybe need to try again with better quality chicken.

  tasted lovely and zesty husband also liked it, I didnt have tarragon and used rosemary instead. My only negative was my potatoes didnt look as good (brown) as in the picture, but all was forgiven as they were very tasty. lovely change

  This was truly scrumptious! I got the wrong chicken out of the freezer (skinless and boneless thighs) but it still worked a treat. I also used rosemary instead of tarragon and this worked really well with the lemony flavour. Had leftovers today for lunch with a salad - delicious. Will def make again :o)

  Marinated for 24 hours, tasted delicious. Only downside is potatoes didn't go crispy as there was so much fat in chicken thighs, although I had brought free range organic and kept draining the fat off.

  Tasty and easy, though the wedges were a bit soggy. Will do again but will put the wedges on a separate tray. The chicken was lovely.

  Really good easy supper - my husband asked for something without a rich sauce so tried this and got the big thumbs up! Children loved it too. I did put the wedges on a different tray so they worked better and came out crispy... lovely with an avacado salad.

  With chicken thighs on special offer, I bought them with no idea how to cook them. I used this recipe but as I didn't have much time, adapted it by grating the zest from 2 lemons, mixing this with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of freeze dried tarragon. This sat on the side while I washed and dried the chicken. Having slashed the skin, I rubbed this mixture into the skin of the 8 chicken thighs I had. Lastly I sprinkled a small amount of Maldon salt on top of each thigh. Baked for 45 mins in my fan oven, they were crispy and delcious. However, I agree with other writers who said the potatoes were greasy. They were very oily but my daughter's boyfriend, aged 17, managed to eat a mountain of them all the same! Fabulously easy to do though as the whole meal cooks itself!

  this is a perfect meal for a lazy day as it simply cooks itself. i don't normally like to eat the skin on chicken thighs but it was so tasty that i couldn't resist. i have to admit that some of the potato wedges got a bit greasy where too much chicken fat collected, but the rest were really crisp and delicious. i'll certainly keep this recipe filed away for days when i want something good to eat but have little patience for cooking.

  Sorry if this sounds very stupid but I'd rather do this recipe with chicken breast, as opposed to chicken thighs and was wondering if there was a difference in cooking time?

  It was lovely. I don't use chicken thighs much but it was well worth it, really nice. I made some sweet potato wedges too.

  These were great, and I didn't find them soggy, but I had poured away the excess juice after marinading overnight, and the chicken thighs were skinless
