  We love this recipe, I use low fat sausages and also bulk it out with other veg ie butternut squash, mushrooms and red onions for a healthier option. Yummy!

  Everyone really enjoyed this meal. I added chucks of onion with the sausages, and then 10 mins before the end I put in some fresh tomatoes, made a whole meal in one pan. Really yummy.

  i've lost count of the times i've made this - usually i make 2 or 3 trays of it for the adults at my son's birthday party - always impresses and so easy

  Slightly disappointing. I didn't like cooking the sausages in with the potatoes as I felt this made them taste more of sausage than of the herbs and seasoning I'd use. Also felt that the sauce was too sweet but this is probably personal preference.

  Awesome were the words used when we had this for tea, my other half thought it could do with some carrots and parnips we will try next time..... drank the left over cider too!

  This meal went down brilliantly with my partner and his mates when we watched the footie. changed marmalade for honey and added a little chicken stock. Adding vegetables like courgette and onions made it more of a whole meal. second time i made it, added bacon aswell for a bit of a difference.

  I love this recipe to bits and since the first time, i've made it loads! i add carrotts, parsnips, red onion and Pancetta too to make it expra special! The first time i made it i had no cider but i had lager and apple juice (sounds mad i know) so i thought, hmm...cider/Lager both fizzy, got apple juice so tried it out feeling risky and it was dee-lish! I make sure i always have a spare bottle of cider in the cupboard now for this dish only but wouldn't hesitate to use the ol' lager again! Really gorgeous! Oh,..i have it with steamed cabbage and leek mixed with worcester sauce for a little kick! Ace recipe! :)

  I am sorry to say that I just did not like this. A mixture of bitter and sweet all at the same time and not in a good way. A waste of quality bangers. Try the Sausage Caserole with Garlic toast as a much more tastey alternative.

  Delicious recipe to which I added carrots and a red onion. I struggled to get the sausages to brown much. It was very tasty so I'll definitely make again but brown the sausages separately.

  Family enjoyed this but I took sausages out half way through and dried fried them for extra colour, before putting them back in with some extra veg (onion, mushrooms, peppers, courgettes). Next time would probably halve the marmalade (used homemade which tends to have a stronger flavour).

  Excellent easy recipe. Went down well with the whole family. Stuck to the original recipe but cooked a little longer in the oven. Definitely one to make again.

  Unless it is my oven but the timing is completely out I followed timings given etc but was all undercooked and took alot longer than stated

  Really tasty but took loads longer to cook, had sausages and potatoes in oven for nearly 1hour. will cook again.

  love this. bulked out with squash, onion, carrot and parsnip makes a great one dish meal. I make extra sauce to go on the table for anyone that wants it.
