  2. While the potatoes are cooking, mix the cheese, mustard and milk together. When the chops have had 10 mins, spread the cheese mixture over them and switch the oven over to grill. Place the pan under the grill and cook for about 5 mins until the cheese is bubbling and the potatoes are golden and crispy. Serve straight from the pan.

Really enjoyed this, so easy and quick to prepare. Added thinly sliced apple wedges as suggested and found it added a tasty something extra.

Very tasty and so easy, will be making again. Next time I'll add the apple as I found it quite rich and needing that contrast

I thought the sauce kind of overpowered the pork chops. Chops are nice enough on their own not to need smothering in cheese and mustard! But it was still ok.

I really fancied a pork chop but they usually come out dry when I grill them so I tried this and it was a resounding success. Boyfriend looked suitably impressed when I presented it and I barely had to put any effort in!

The chops were really nice but Id like to try this with a little Dijon mustard next time instead of wholegrain. Also I didnt follow the recipe for the chips; I boiled them in salted water for a few minutes and roasted them on a baking tray with a little oil until crispy. I prepared the chips before I went to work to save time which made this a very quick, easy mid week meal.

Made this for informal supper with friends. Great overall, friends really liked the pork chops which were succulent and tasty. Added sweet potato but it did not add to the dish.

nice easy recipe. I used about 3tbs of mustard and double cream instead of milk as I had some that needed using up. Made a lovely sauce and the potatoes were lovely. Didnt really flavour the pork much but it was a nice change to just having them with veg and potatoes. Would definitely make the potatoes with the sauce again but I dont think it added to the pork in any way other than mustard sauce going well with it.

As this seems like man food I did this last night for mine and it was absolutely fab. Trusted the recipe and only cooked the pork for 10mins then grilled it for 5mins to melt the cheese and it was cooked perfectly. I used wine as the splash and two red onions. Will defo do again but would like to try chicken in future. Yum

Sorry - but the potatoes do not cook through. Even if you slice them thinly with a machine - 40 min is not enough time. The potatoes at the top cook, but the rest stick together and do not cook. Yes - I stirred them. Yes - I know what I am doing. Chops were ok. Students might be ok with this - we were not.
