  • 100g bag salted microwave popcorn
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup

Method

Cook the microwave popcorn according to the packet instructions. Tip into a large bowl. Sprinkle over the spices, then pour over the agave syrup. Stir and serve warm or pour into a bag and take to work as an afternoon snack.

I cooked my own popcorn instead of using microwave popcorn and used grapeseed oil to be healthier. I also added some other herbs and spices such as rubbed rosemary and paprika. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it much more than regular butter and salt popcorn!

Try a sprinkle of stevia extract on corn before placing in microwave and get sweet popcorn without the calories of sugar, taste fab too!
