Had to make two batches of these due to the apple being completely stuck to the greaseproof paper when I went to turn them as per the receipe!! With the second attempt I first very lightly oiled the greaseproof paper and also turned the slices over regularly and they turned out perfectly. Delicious and love the cinammon flavour that comes through and will definately makes these time and time again for a healthy snack for work, car journeys and for friends and family at home.

great recipe! i buy these in supermarkets (already dried) and they cost me a stupid amount for what they actually are! Making them myself - takes two mins to prepare - and at a fraction of the price! thankyou for the recipe! (also used a little bit of oil to grease the paper!!!) x

I nearly didn't try these because of the bad reviews but I'm so glad I did! The important thing is you slice each apple slice as evenly as you can and that as another poster has said you OIL THE GREASEPROOF PAPER! Or they will burn. I turned mine about 4 times whilst cooking and obviously thinner ones cook quicker than thicker ones and you want to remove them. I like mine when they're just about going crispy.

These were very delicious but they burn easily so I would recommend watching them carefully.

Make thicker slices and keep turning them throughout the duration of 45 mins. The apple then tastes gooey like an apple pie, but is completely healthy!

have made twice, the second time i cut them a lot thicker to prevent them sticking and also they were softer in the middle but still had a slight crunch rather than being totally crispy. very tasty.
