  Haven't tried this particular version but I do a sausage and bean casserole that is similar and it freezes fine.

  Delicious dinner. I couldn't get hold of any adzuki beans, so used cannelini beans instead. Served with mash. Good comfort food.

  This is great, definately comfort food for these cold days. The sauce is gorgeous, can't help thinking I could use the sauce base for other things to. Happy cooking!

  This tastes absolutely fabulous. The best meal I have cooked in the last few weeks. The smoked Paprika gives it a wonderful taste.

  Had ths last night and i have to say i was a little underwhelmed. It was ok but i felt that the sausages were wasted in it as they were overpowered by the chorizo. It may be better after leaving it for a day but probably won't be making it again.

  coconutcadang - never use cheap wine for cooking. The best rule is, if you like to drink it, it's ok to cook with it.

  Yum yum yum. I browned my sausages separately and sliced the chorizos. Then added chorizo back to casserole; finished it off then added the remaining sausages. Then cooked in oven gas mark 4 for 1 hour. Served with creamy mash hevan :)

  I loved this recipe! As a cheapo student I could only get a small chunk of chorizo from the deli counter and missed out the wine and cumin but it was amazing and good for comfort as well as the change purse :)

  For me, the balance was off - the strongest flavours were tomato and smoked paprika which I do like but they needed toning down a bit. Overall I liked it but will adjust the quanities next time.

  Yummy comfort food. Didn't have aduki beans so used borlotti instead, and skipped the celery. Will definitely be making this again.

  This recipe was AMAZING! Although there was way too much thyme. We ondidn't use any fresh thyme and only put in a small tsp of dried thyme but it was very overpowering. Despite this, I would definitely make it again. We had it with mash for more of a comfort dish but think it would be lovely with rice. I even had enough to bring some to work today for lunch!
