I know that it should be the most elementary of snacks....but for some reasons I haven't had it for years- finding it here by chance has given me an old new thing to eat mid afternoon!

I think this is wonderful. I now have it on a regular basis for breakfast or a quick filler during the day.

I can confirm that banana & peanut butter is a winning combination!

Sure it tastes good but come on...a recipe?? Is that really needed? I cannot cook to save myself but I am not that much of a moron that I need a recipe for a sandwich!! Not the most inspiring recipe on this website I must say!

307 calories is unlikely.
2 slices granary bread - 200 calories
1 small banana - 95 calories
1 tbsp peanut butter - 125 calories
420 calories. Not quite as light.

Not usually too keen on peanut butter, but gave this a go and it was brilliant.

Great breakfast idea although I missed out the cinnamon because I don't like it. It kept me full well past lunch time!

I can recommend this light snack for breakfast and when feeling peckish. It tastes crunchy and yummy. I would not add anything else.

I really love this, but I usually swap out the cinnamon for a small squeeze of honey instead!

Absolutely divine! Sounds so simple, and it is, but the flavours marry together so well it has become a staple with me. Delicious.
