Method

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Meanwhile, crush the biscuits and Maltesers in a large bowl with a rolling pin.
  2. Add mini marshmallows, dried cranberries and cake crumbs, then the chocolate and golden syrup. Mix well. Tip desiccated coconut onto a plate. Drop large spoonfuls of mixture onto the plate, then roll them around, coating in coconut and shaping into balls. Place on a baking tray and chill for 30 mins before serving. Sprinkle with edible glitter if you like.

Really tasty, left out the mellows due to being a veggie.

These are the most delicious snacks you have ever come across!
My friend made them the other day and I ate sooo many of them (feeling slightly sick after as they are fairly rich - not too rich tho, coz I happily ate about 5 of them!!)
They are easy to make (apparently) and you can have them any time - for a party as a snack or just as a treat with your afternoon cuppa! :)
Enjoy :)

Have made these as Christmas gifts. Okay recipie, certainly less time consuming than truffles. Very sickly, but to be expected. Would make again but with out the marshmallows as they make the 'snowballs' harder to form and I can't really say that they add anything special to the finished article.

These are very easy and really good! There were quite a few ingredients to buy in, but I'm now about to make my third batch! I love chocolate truffles and these make a nice festive alternative.
