  I thoroughly enjoyed this, although I think I added a little bit too much harrisa paste so it was quite spicy - too spicy for my children. I would make this again - it is very tasty and has beautiful flavours

  Best meal ever!!! absolutely loved the aromas from every part of the cooking process...i used 2 teaspoons of harissa paste and a mild chorizo and all the flavours blended really well. The meatballs were to die for...definately serve with rice not couscous as the couscous absorbs the flavour way too much...rice with peas in were the perfect partner...definately make this again!

  This was delicious and went down well with all of the friends I was feeding! A bit of a faff making the meatballs but well worth the effort! I would note however that this only fed 6 of us, no way it would feed 8 of my mates!

  A good mid-week meal. Added garlic to both the meatballs and the sauce. Omitted egg from the meatballs..they didn't need it..as well as cinnamon and cloves (husband doesn't like the flavours). Will probably add more Harissa next time and maybe some ras el hanout. Served with tagliatelle.

  Great recipe. I cooked this for a dinner party on Saturday and it went down very well, people wanted the recipe.... I made it a week in advance and froze it. Then just defrosted it and heated for 160 degrees for an hour (longer than planned!) Served it with tabbouleh. Great success.

  I made this ahead for a dinner party, froze it and reheated it on the night. It was delicious and everyone said how lovely it was - there were only 6 of us and there was none left! I realised I had no cinammon stick, so used a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, it still tasted really good. This one is a winner, I'll be doing it again and again!

  Highly recommended though personally I would have also added chickpeas but bf doesn't like them Definitely a tip to fry the meatballs in the chorizo oil then drain most of oil away rather than adding extra fat. Also baked the meatballs briefly as they were in the process of disintegrating. Don't use a large egg as makes the mixture too runny Also added some left over mint sauce, added a fresh touch Yummy! Served with Orzo pasta and tzatziki to cool it all down plus a fresh leafy salad A winner have already reccommended it to mum & dad

  Doubled the recipe for a party - took me ages to roll all those mini meatballs, but it was worth it - a real tasty dish. Plus made meatballs in advance for ease. A winner I will make again soon.

  Made for a dinner party. Used turkey mince as one person doesn't eat lamb. Used chipotle paste instead of Harissa too. Would definitely make again. Served with rice with lemon and spinach.
