Although the recipe is a good, time/money saving idea, the entire concept of "TV dinner" should be banned from our lives. Eating anything in front of a TV set is unhealthy! Watching TV programs destracts one's attention and we eat more then we should. This is particularly unhealthy for the kids.

Often made something similar using chili, mozzarella, jalapenos, soured cream and guacamole (aka mocking the nachos platters served in the pubs). Will try soon this new version as well! Ivana, relax! (me, I never had a TV dinner in my life - I'm Italian, completely different food and meals culture - still, I think this website is not the correct place for moralizers).

sorry but this site is called 'good food' and as a nation of FAT PEOPLE - should we really should NOT be telling them this is good food !!!!! Reality is that all the super fit/healthy people trying to feed their family with balanced healthy food know that you would not produce this rubbish. I am personally disappointed to see this on this site - DISAPPOINTED BY THE PEOPLE WORKING TOWARDS HEALTHIER EATING

Wow ivana, everything is ok in moderation!! Cheering on your nation with a snack is one of life's greatest pleasures. To be fair it's not the snack that's the problem it will be the 5 pints to go with it ;-) Come on GB!!!!!
