Soft-boiled eggs with pancetta wrapped soldiers
A traditional favourite is updated with crisp, salty bacon perfect for a quick brunch or substantial family breakfast

- Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas6. Wrap pancetta slices around the soldiers then put on a non-stick baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes until the bread is golden and the pancetta is crisp.
- Meanwhile, add the eggs to boiling water and cook for 4 ½ minutes, for a soft-boiled egg. Drain then serve with pancetta soldiers to dunk.
