Method

  1. For spiced lassi, whisk equal amounts of low-fat yogurt with water using a balloon whisk to create a frothy foam, then serve sprinkled with a few toasted cumin seeds and a little chopped fresh coriander. For a sweet version, whisk the yogurt and water with a little sugar to taste and a few drops of rose water.

    For me this just tasted like some yoghurt with water added to it! The corriander on top all ended up being dug out. However, it is great for soothing a burning mouth and everyone finished theirs.

    3 cups plain yogurt 1 cup cold water. 1 fresh green chili, seeded and very finely chopped(optional) ½ tsp ground cumin salt to taste Fresh coriander or mint leaves Ginger grated as much as you want Curry leaves- 2-3 Lassi should be nice and thick Grind all the ingredients in a blender. blend it till frothy and serve with crushed ice
