Rigatoni with spicy chorizo & rosemary sauce

A little spicy sausage can turn a plain pasta dish into a punchy midweek meal

Method

  1. Cook the pasta following packet instructions. Fry the chorizo in a little olive oil for 3 minutes. Add the chilli flakes and rosemary and cook for 1 minute then tip in the tomatoes. Simmer for 15 minutes then add the cream (if using) and stir well.
  2. Toss with the pasta and serve.

    Delicious! I will definitely make this again. My hubby is not a huge tomato fan, so the touch of cream made all the difference.

    This was fantastic and easy to make. I didn't use the cream and it was still very tasty and I made a side salad thinking it might be too little but that wasn't really necessary, it would have been plenty alone!

    Added a little balsamic vinegar and seasoned it well (didn't bother with the cream). An excellent storecupboard recipe which both myself and hubby thoroughly enjoyed.
