This is really easy to make and very yummy. I alternate with what dried fruit and even nuts I use so you can tailor it to what you fancy. It also makes plenty so it lasts.

I made this last night and not sure if the oats I used had been in the cupboard too long but it didn't 'clump' as I expected it to. May use slightly less oats next time to get the desired stickiness. Also used my own imagination in the ingredients I used - chopped mixed nuts added with pine nuts and didn't use the coconut but swapped it for dried cranberries and apricots. Will definitely make this again - even the children loved it

Lovely flavours but I must say I find the texture rather bitty with all the sesame seeds. Also 10-15 minutes in the oven was too long after adding the dried fruit, as some it ended up rather hard and chewy. Won't stop me making it again with a few amendments though!

This recipe has never, ever made 15 servings! But it is a great recipie, and very tasty indeed. I've tried shop bought granola before and found it just too hard to chew through on an early morning. This of course all depends on what you put into it, I just used linseed instead of sesame seed but that was the only change. Went down very well with my wife and daughter too. Made a batch on Saturday morning, it had all gone after breakfast Monday morning! Wanted to make twice the quantity second time but didn't have enough seeds, etc - won't make that mistake again.

I've wanted to make my own granola for a while now and although this recipe was fine (found the oven temp and cooking times too short though) it doesn't seem cost viable to make this up unless you can buy and make in bulk.

Excellent recipe! Find this very nutritious and easy to make. Have added a few variations regarding the dried fruit and seeds, but it's always a success!

this is yummy, I didn't have half the ingredients so improvised with what was in the cupboards. I found that I had to cook it for much longer to get a good crunch to it! (More like 40 mins in total) I like the fact that it does keep you going until lunchtime.

Wow, this is a great recipe. My fussy French friend absolutely loves it and it has become our weekday staple. We recently started a more intense running regime and this granola with natural yoghurt hits the spot every time.

My husband doesn't eat wheat, gluten or dairy so this granola goes down a treat. He truly is addicted to it and it doesn't last long once made. The great thing is that you can add/change the ingredients depending on your mood and makes each batch slightly different.

I have just put my granola into a container to stop me eating it. It is fabulous. I added pecans and other nuts and missed out the sesame seeds as that is what was in the cupboard. I can't wait for breakfast tomorrow and will eat the granola with blueberries and fat free Greek yogurt. My granola did not clump. Should it? Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

I am so glad I made this and agree that I will never buy Granola or Muesli again, as this is so good! The coconut is such a delicate but essential taste and the maple syrup gives the granola such a natural sweetness that you dont get in shop bought granolas. I added more nuts the 2nd time, but will stick to the original recipe next time as too many nuts spoiled the simplicity of what this is is all about. The combination of seeds worked perfectly and I was nervous about putting them all in. Just lovely, without clumps!

This is a really easy and delicious recipe. Didn't have any sesame seeds so added pecan nuts and some more mixed nuts. Not too sure about adding the dried berries 10 mins. before the end of cooking as I found my dried cranberries too crunchy. Next time will add at the end without cooking them.

OH MY GOODNESS... this granola recipe is sooo good!! I left out the sesame seeds and put in chopped walnuts, brazil, hazelnuts and almonds (instead of the flaked almonds) and didn't stir it too much so it stayed quite clumpy which I love! I would agree with the dried fruit comments though don't bother putting it in until you have finished cooking as it just goes hard. Also I baked mine for an extra 15 mins checking on it every 5 to make it a really nice golden colour and crunchy too. Be warned though.....you will almost definitely eat at least 3 of the "15 servings" through just picking as it is addictive!!

Made this last night, very pleased with the results, very moreish. I didn't use cococut as I'm not a fan, and only had groundnut oil so used a scant 2tbsp of that. I used cranberries and blueberries. I think for my taste, next time I'll use less sesame seeds but other than that it is delicious stuff and after eating a very small portion for breakfast, it is now 4pm and I'm just starting to get the tiniest hunger pangs. Would make a lovely pudding with layers of good vanilla icecream and crushed ripe strawberries!

so so so so delicious! I ran out of flaked almonds so I used whole almonds to the same value which gave the granola a bit of a tasty crunch. Really good with yoghurt and strawberries

This is a fab recipe - the granola smells divine while it's cooking (forget the fresh coffee, just make this if you're showing people around your house); and it fills you up a treat until lunch. I added some cinnamon and will probably experiment with ginger, mixed spice, etc. Tempted to bin the coconut next time - or at least reduce the amount of dessicated that I used as it was rather "bitty". Took other reviewers' advice and only added the fruit a few minutes before removing it from the oven. Cooking times more or less as the recipe stated. Yum.
