  Left the crumble in the over for over an hour as it still hadn't set well. The top cooked nicely. Have just cut up the crumble into pieces and unfortunately it didn't sit well.

  I baked these and added the apples into the cake mixture - I notice the recipe has now been updated. These were a hit with all my family and soon vanished. I will definitely be baking these again.

  First time I made these without the updated method and put the apples at the same stage as raspberries and it worked fine! Lovely as a cake or a pud! Just trying them now to the updated method so fingers crossed! I used 2 apples both times.

  Gorgeous little cakey/crumble things.... Very easy to make, and even the kids thoroughly enjoyed these, even my VV fussy one!! Would be fantastic with some warm custard on a chilly autumn evening.

  this recipe is absolutely awesome. I made it for work and everyone loved it. It took longer to cook that stated in the recipe but it was wel worth the wait. Its so moist and light.

  This was gorgeous! Surprisingly light sponge and I used blackberries instead of raspberries, and it still worked a treat. Highly recommended.
