Giving it a twist

Replace the cinnamon stick with a whole star anise for liquorice flavour. Use grapefruit juice instead of orange. Throw in a handful of nuts or sesame and sunflower seeds just before serving.

This was simple and delicious. I think next time I may try it served with toasted almonds on top and maybe add some grand mariner in it too. I didn't do it in a microwave either as I don't have one, but it was simple just to simmer it on the hob. A keeper!!

This is dead easy and really delicious. It tastes and looks good. I like to serve it warm but it's lovely chilled for breakfast. I sometimes do it as an alternative pudding when we have friends over who are watching calories.
