  Loved this healthy option. Try adding chopped garlic and sprigs of rosemary to the potatoes. Fish was lovely and moist. Timing was spot on. The tartare sauce was easy and much tastier than the 'jar variety'.

  Lovely - Homemade tartare sauce so much nicer than the bought version. Added chopped garlic to the chips too. Yum!

  cooking time needs reducing quite a lot (my oven is very new though) Husband enjoyed it - me not so sure

  I couldn't get the tartar to work... i used pickled capers and rinsed them but it was so sour, any ideas?

  This is a fab recipe. I made it for myself on night and loved it so i made it for the next time i partner was over and he loved it too. Everytime i ask him what he fancies for dinner he says healthy fish and chips!

  This is the best fish and chips ever. It was loved by the whole family ( kids 2,5,14) . Empty plates all round 5*.

  I cooked this yesterday, very nice. I also added capers to the the fish and also a little bit of garlic (half a clove with the middle stem removed). The chips worked very well. All in all a very well balanced meal and clean plates all round.
