This is a really lovely sauce. I added garlic to the roasting vegetables and balsamic vinegar and chilli powder just before serving and it was delicious. Definitely a keeper!

Good tomato-based sauce. The sweetness of the roasted peppers and onion prevented the often bitter tomato. I added garlic during the roasting and a splash of balsamic near the end.

Everyone loved it. Added tuna for one, vegetables for another and left the rest plain. Easy to make and empty plates afterwards. Perfect.

This was very nice. I roased some garlic with the peppers and onions and used fresh thyme. I too added a slug of balsamic vinegar. I felt that the sauce needed to be ever so slightly sweeter so will add some sugar next time. I like the idea of adding chillies too but the children won't eat it then!

What an amazing recipe, so easy and much better than pre-made sauces! Added 3 cloves of garlic and a few basil leaves, the cloves I added before roasting, the basil afterwards. After they came out of the oven, I added some extra olive oil for moist and some crème fraîche so it got a little creamy :)

This was gorgeous, lovely consistency, I used passata with added basil, poured it over cooked pasta with grated cheese on the top - delicious! Very quick if you are in a hurry!
