easily the tastiest and easiest pasta sauce I have ever had! I too added a bit of garlic but didn't add chilli....the sauce is so simple I didn't want to over power the taste.

What an amazing recipe, so easy and much better than pre-made sauces! Added 3 cloves of garlic and a few basil leaves, the cloves I added before roasting, the basil afterwards. After they came out of the oven, I added some extra olive oil for moist and some crème fraîche so it got a little creamy :)

This was very nice. I roased some garlic with the peppers and onions and used fresh thyme. I too added a slug of balsamic vinegar. I felt that the sauce needed to be ever so slightly sweeter so will add some sugar next time. I like the idea of adding chillies too but the children won't eat it then!

Everyone loved it. Added tuna for one, vegetables for another and left the rest plain. Easy to make and empty plates afterwards. Perfect.

Really tasty sauce that can be used for so many different things!!! I made it this morning adding some garlic while roasting the peppers & onion & once the sauce was made I added a few chilli flakes for a bit of a kick, I served with with pasta & chicken with a salad for lunch & it was really tasty - a definate hit! I would definatly reccomend as im sure you can easily adapt it with slight variations for different dishes & its so quick & simple.
