I am new to smoothie-making, but I'm having fun experimenting.
Lots of recipes have bananas in, but I am having trouble with getting my smoothies to taste of the other fruit I use, all I'm getting are banana flavoured smoothies!

Any advice or tips, please?

Try using Almond milk instead of yogurt. Unsweetened Almond milk has like.. 26 calories per 200ml and is very nutritious. :)

I used a handful of rasberries,four strawberries,1 bannana,3 desertspoons low fat greek yoghurt,and a splash of light soya milk,it,s very filling for breakfast.mmm too.

I also put an apple or pear in the shake, and I usually add some berries juice... delicious!

I use skimmed milk in place of yoghurt, and add a big teaspoon of wheat germ, and a couple of tablespoons of oats - it's delicious.

I put a handful each of various forest fruits plus 1 small banana with
half small tub of Greek yogurt and if to thick when mixed together I add semi-skimmed milk ....yummy and very filling

Frozen low fat yoghurt, and frozen forest fruits are lovely whizzed up with cloudy apple juice - a bit lighter but still yummy

My version is: put half a pint (300ml) of skimmed milk in a jug, add 80g of any frozen berries and a chopped banana then whiz up with a stick blender until smooth. This makes 2 biggish glassfuls. It's especially nice to do when you come in from work/school on a hot day - the frozen fruit really chills it. The food tracker site I use tells me that, using a small (120g) banana (weighed with skin), this comes out as 99 calories with 0.6g fat per serving (doesn't say how much sugar).
