  1. In a big bowl, mix the mince, spices, onion and orange zest together really well with your hands. Roll the mixture into about 20 walnut-sized meatballs.

  2. Put the couscous in a bowl, pour over the hot chicken stock, cover with cling film and leave to stand for 10 mins.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. add the meatballs and fry, turning often, for about 12 mins until browned all over and cooked through.

  4. Fluff the couscous up with a fork, stir in the chopped orange, coriander and some seasoning. Pile onto plates and serve with the meatballs.

This was so bland and dry, I will not be making it again!

I added courgette and an egg to the meatball mix so they would not be dry, but it didn't work very well. The spice combination is lovely, but turkey is a very dry meat and couscous can be quite dry too, so I served the meatballs with a lemony couscous and with a rich tomato sauce. It worked quite well.

Interesting flavours, nothing like i've tasted before but enjoyable. Couscous worked great with the orange and the meatballs were full of flavour. Turkey took much longer to cook however and they had a slightly odd texture. Overall a good recipe to try for something new.

A really tasty recipe, and as other commenters have shown, really easy to adapt if there's something else you want to throw in or substitute. We do something similar in our low calorie food plans.

Really tasty, I loved the couscous with the oranges in. The meatballs were delicious! I had mine with raita, which went really well with the dish. This has become a tea time staple

What can I say, this was absolutely terrible! The meatballs were fine, had some amazing flavour to them with a hint of orange, but the dish was then spoiled by the texture and taste of chicken stock flavoured couscous, yeuck! The orange segments didn't do anything for the couscous.

Fairly good recipe, the couscous worked well. The meatballs were rather dry (I did make them rather large though). Used the same recipe but added a grated apple to make turkey burgers and it worked great that time. I'd add something in to the turkey to stop it drying out.

This was good. My husband was a bit skeptic of the orange in the couscous, but he liked it. Don't know if I will make again, but worth a try.

I made this with my mum and it was yum!
it was a bit on the spicy side so next time we make we will put less spices in we also put peas and sweetcorn in with the couscous.

I tried this last night... wasn't very happy with the end result. I added 2 eggs to the mixture cos i was afraid that the meatballs would not keep their shape in the pan. I don't think I'll do again.

Made this for the first time. Great success.

I used cayenne pepper instead of chilli, added an egg to the mince (I had some to use up) and also dried mint. The egg and juice from grated onion made mine juicy and moist.

I use bulgar wheat instead of cous cous, and used satsuma, fine grated carrot, parsley and rocket. Bright colours and fresh flavours. Lovely, will be great for spring/summer!

Bit dry but very tasty - especially the couscous which had loads of fresh coriander in it.

Easy to make and tasted fine although dry as others have said. I used lemon instead of orange. Meatballs tasted mostly of chilli so next time I would decrease that; I also used less than half the amount of cinnamon because I don't care for cinnamon in meat dishes. Makes a fine mid-week supper, with a green vegetable to go along with it.

Delicious and healthy - a new favourite. On the recommendation of others I made a yoghurt, mint and cucumber raita. I feel it added some moisture and a different texture to the dish. Looking forward to making this again!

Enjoyed these. I did add more spice then recommended and didn't find it too spicy so it probably needs it. A little bit dry but tasty anyway! Have made extra to pop into the freezer and will look forward to them again the next time.

Tasty recipe, I added basil to the couscous as had no fresh coriander. Couscous was a little dry for my taste and might have been better served warm.
