  We had this at Christmas family party last year ... it was very, very popular with everyone!!! You won't be disappointed... Just looking the recipe out again today for a dinner party... 6+ stars defo!

  Yum - enjoyed by all - kids and adults alike. Didn't have cinnamon sticks but 1 level tsp ground cinnamon and sieved it before serving. Will certainly be serving this at Christmas.

  My husband is a regular on anything that is juice... I made this for him as a special treat on a special day.. He loved it! It wasn't clear as it shows in the picture though, but then maybe because I left all the ingredients in the apple juice in the fridge overnight and seived the day after. Didn't need any sugar or honey.

  Must give it a try, judging from the comments. We have bottles and bottles of our own apple juice so looks like this is the recipe!

  I made this as an alternative to mulled wine on bonfire night. It made a really good winter warmer for the kids, and was a preferred alternative to beer for some of the oldies! I found that it was quite strong/thick so could be diluted down with a bit of cold water, which made it a more drinkable temperature as well.

  I added some lemon and orange slices rather than the orange peel. Really tasty alternative to mulled wine.
