Totally lush - I'm not a big drinker (as in booze) and this is such a wonderful alternative - even those who like mulled win were coming back for more of thise one! Blogged about it here http://petitfiloux.blogspot.com/2009/12/monday-humbug.html

Yum - enjoyed by all - kids and adults alike. Didn't have cinnamon sticks but 1 level tsp ground cinnamon and sieved it before serving. Will certainly be serving this at Christmas.

My husband is a regular on anything that is juice... I made this for him as a special treat on a special day.. He loved it! It wasn't clear as it shows in the picture though, but then maybe because I left all the ingredients in the apple juice in the fridge overnight and seived the day after. Didn't need any sugar or honey.

Must give it a try, judging from the comments. We have bottles and bottles of our own apple juice so looks like this is the recipe!

I made this as an alternative to mulled wine on bonfire night. It made a really good winter warmer for the kids, and was a preferred alternative to beer for some of the oldies! I found that it was quite strong/thick so could be diluted down with a bit of cold water, which made it a more drinkable temperature as well.

I added some lemon and orange slices rather than the orange peel. Really tasty alternative to mulled wine.

A great alternative to mulled wine. Just as warming, but without the worry of alcohol!
