Chargrilled gammon with champ & green beans

Method

  1. Boil potatoes until tender then drain. Simmer the spring onions in the milk until soft, then mash into the potatoes with a knob of butter until you have a soft, creamy mash.
  2. Chargrill (griddle) the gammon for a couple of minutes on each side. Serve with the champ and beans.

    spread a little dijon mustard on the gammon steaks when they're about halfway cooked... adds that "someting" extra....
