This was too fiery and salty. Next time, I will leave out the chilli and halve the quantity of chinese five spice.

Just a perfect dinner. I didn't have any 5 spice so substituted a mix of cloves, cinnamon and fennel. It was a close enough match and tasted really good. Also added thinly sliced carrots and courgette, instead of pak choi. Again worked well. Will be making this again.

The marinade is lovely. We have also used it for chicken and it was fab. I did add in some soy sauce and fish sauce to the liquid, along with a chilli and as it was initially a little bland. Will definitely make it again.

Great recipe. The pork was very tender and the marinade gave it a fantastic flavour. I added homemade Tamago to the Ramen. Will definitely make this again.

Made this for the first time tonight for my husband and two sons - thumbs up all around. Left the chilli, garlic and ginger in the finished dish. Added baby sweet corm for extra crunch. 10/10

This was Good but far too fiery. Think the chilli needs to be halved!

Really liked this and so easy to make. I used broccoli and shredded cabbage as I couldn't get any pak choi. I also added some chilli flakes to the broth as the fresh chillies I had in weren't very hot and I like a bit of spice. As others have said, I'd imagine the dish would work with chicken too.
