Ingredients

  • 2 cups soft breadcrumbs
  • 1 quart of milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 ounces or 50g chocolate
  • 2/3 of a cup of caster sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cream

Method

  • STEP 1
    combine breadcrumbs and milk in a large bowl and allow to sit for 30 mins.meanwhile spread butter around the dish to grease.
  • STEP 2
    melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water,add the sugar and stir.
  • STEP 3
    slowly stir in the milk and breadcrumbs,then the eggs and vanilla.
  • STEP 4
    pour into the baking dish and bake at 180c for 2 hours or until deep brown.
  • STEP 5
    serve warm with cream.
